About Miquela

I'm Miquela - a 29 year old professional living in Prahran, Melbourne. I just moved here from London in January 2024.

I’ve always had cats and dogs growing up, and absolutely loving having them around, it’s so homely. However, when I moved out, having no pets around got so lonely so I was a regular dog sitter and walker whilst I lived in London.

I looked after a variety of dogs over the last 5 years both in my house and at owner's houses. All sizes and ages and a range of breeds. I can provide references of those if needed - all UK based but wouldn't have a problem being messaged.

I also grew up with cats so have experience with cats as well and absolutely adore them, particularly ones who want love.

I'd prefer to host pets at my house - we have a decent garden which is fenced and has lots of space, and also close to various parks for walking. But also flexible to dog sit if needed as well. At the moment I am going into the office every day but am around in the evenings and weekends, but my partner works from home so is happy to help if needed. We will have a proper WFH set up in a couple months so I'll be able to have more availability from then.

I've previously done long stays too if you go on holiday or go out in the evenings/ weekends, so whatever you're after, I can definitely find something to fit around what you need out of being on here! And have so much love to give to pets whilst I am so far away from home....
