About Phill

I'm a 36 year old cisgender male living in Melboure. I moved here from NZ 12 years ago and love walking around the inner northern suburbs, preferably with a dog by my side.

I've owned dogs my whole life, mostly spaniels. I currently have a Blue Heeler X Kelpie who keeps me very busy.

I volunteered with Lort Smith Animal Hospital and Adoption Centre for 5 years between 2015 and 2020 where I helped out as a kennels assistant and foster carer. My duties included: Dog walking, cleaning, administering medication, desensitisation and obedience training.

I'm very good with anxious/aggresive dogs and would often foster dogs that weren't suited to the kennel environment.

I take great satisfaction in creating a safe, nurturing and fun environment for dogs. I hope you'll give me the oppurtunity to help with your pet....

Phill has fostered a range of dogs before and is very capable of looking after dogs of any size or temperament. I have seen him work with his current rescue dog Dusty to transform her from a scared and reactive dog to a fun, playful and incredibly obedient dog. He is incredibly responsible and I have no doubt that he would look after your pet like it were his own. …
