I aim to create a safe and loving home away from home for your pet where they will be welcomed and treated as part of the family. We are a homeschooling family with older children.

I have grown up in a semi rural setting, where I’ve had experience dealing with birds, cats, dogs, horses and cows. I currently have 1 cat, 3 indoor birds and 2 chooks.

Your pet will have access to our large secure fenced yard with a large native plant garden, during the day and at night, they will be brought inside to be with our family.

I do like to spend a fair amount of time playing with your pet, or setting up enrichment activities. Lazing around on our memory foam rug is also a popular activity!

There are two lovely, quiet areas that I take for walks, both quiet with loads of sniffing opportunities.

I hope you are able to go away without the concern of how your pet is coping without you.

Note: I can only take birds in cages that stay outside, due to owning birds myself. I do have chickens, however, can lock them up if your pet is unsure of them. I can take dogs who are anxious. I do prefer dogs that are ok with cats.

Guinea pig bookings: mad paws wont allow us to charge seperate amounts for pocket pets. However I can edit the costings of Guinea pig bookings.

I have a higher rate over school holidays, Christmas period and long weekends
