I've had pets since I was 6 years old: I started with a lovely little bunny who I read fairy tales to, later we had guinea pigs. 2 of the 4 we raise dfrom birth and saw them grow up, live their best life and ultimately, after 9 long years full of clover, carrots and cucumber, leave us again. But now cats have taken over my heart. I have lived with several kinds (breeds largely unknown) ranging from chill although orange to half maine coon half tuxedo who was afraid of ferrets.
I've raised a kitten but also looked after a friend's cats when they were ill, so I am no stranger to providing medicine and comfort as well.
As I have moved a lot in my life my journey has taken me from Germany to Canberra to study at ANU but I miss having a little furry friend in my life. My usual day consists of classes and study and it would be great to have a break by spending some time with a pet again. I study English and Cultural Studies, and as I am fairly new to Australia I'm happy to take your dogs on long walks and spend some time in nature.
Although I am spending my summer holiday off campus, both my current home and ANU are very central so it will be easy for me to reach a lot of locations within Canberra.
I look forward to hearing from you and metting your furry friends!...
