About Lara

Having grown up with a love of animals, our family had many dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs and plenty of birds, so I was determined to work with animals as a career. Over the years, I have worked in a few wildlife sanctuary's, I just absolutely have so much joy being around animals.

Whilst my career has changed its course, I work from home a few hours a day, restyling furniture, I truly miss being around animals full time! So I made the decision to find another way to be around them - by having the opportunity to look after and adore your pet whilst you are away!

I know that feeling of when you are leaving your pet with someone, and not knowing how they are when you are away from them, so it is of utmost importance that you feel safe that I will be attentive and caring to your pet.

When I have looked after other people’s pets, I am so aware of their emotions, so they will not be lonely if they need company. Whether its taking them out the backyard to play, or just hang out with the, or if they are just wanting company - perhaps they are older, and they just want to know that they aren’t alone.

Be assured, I will accommodate and adapt to whatever works for you and your pet and if you would like it, we would love to send photos of what we get up to each day!

It's a promise when I say if you would like me to look after you dog, they will get daily works and plenty of play and interactive time. We live in Robina surrounded by beautiful parks and lakes and my 16 year old son and I love to go walking exploring the lovely nature that surrounds us. We live in a large house, with a massive backyard with trees for shelter which is perfect for active puppies!

I also understand that animals are all individuals, so like to be able to cater to how what suits you and your pet. Perhaps they have a special diet, or the need to understand your pets personality. As a sensitive person, I am very empathetic so it is important that you as a pet owner, know that I will be able to help you feel at ease knowing that they will be very well cared for.
Just to note, we have a couple of cockatiels but we keep them separate from other pets, so there isn't any need to be concerned about interactions with your pet :-)
