I work one day/night a week as a live in personal carer for a company owned by Mounties. I was doing two days/nights a week but recently gave one shift up to pursue what I have been wanting to do for a while now and that is to be a carer for your precious fur child. I'm 55 years of age and live on my own. I have a 24 year old son who I enjoy cooking for when he pops in. I have been looking after my sons dog Milo (a nine and a half year old cavoodle) every second weekend since he was a pup. I also have him for up to three weeks at a time sometimes when my son goes away on holidays. I love Milo and he loves me very much as well. I have also had a dog of my own for 15 years. If you decide to go with me I will give he/her alot of love and attention as I do with Milo. I live on the bottom floor of a one bedroom unit but is spacious enough for a dog to relax in. I won't be looking after more than three dogs at a time. I have an air conditioner for those hot days and a ceiling fan in my bedroom. I love having Milo sleep on my bed with me and if your pet is used to sleeping on your bed, they are welcomed to do so with me too.
There is a roof top in the appartment block I live in that is fenced off where your dog and myself can pop up to throughout the day for fresh air if it isn't too hot. There are only ten apartments in the block so not many stairs to go up. There are many dog parks near me and also a small dog beach if your dog loves the water. I could go on and on but why not come and meet me with your dog and ask me what you would like to know. I look forward to meeting you and your pet....
