Growing up, I've always been surrounded by pets until recently, when I moved out. Mostly had dogs and cats, but also had a guinea pig, rabbits, and more recently 2 rats who lived past 4 years (died of old age), and a lizard that is still with me.
When I lived on a farm with my family, we had a lot of stray cats I helped look after and domesticate. I enjoyed looking after and going on walks with our elderly purebred English Beagle, Annie, and always loved it when a handful of the strays would join us. I loved caring for our domestic cat, Bell, and my own cat Simba Junior who was born from one of the strays.
There was one time when Yuka, one of the main mother cat strays, was pregnant and we let her stay in the bathroom because she wanted to find a place in the house. She trusted us and preferred us being with her during the birth of her kittens. Also, I helped raise our family Terrier + Maltese puppy. I feel a sense of fulfilment when I help or care for animals.
Though I don't have credentials and could be considered an amateur, I do have 10+ experience from my every day life.
I'm always looking to expand on my skills and gaining new ones. I love to be busy, especially with things that interest me and make me as happy as spending time with animals....
