About Claire

Hi, I'm Claire and I am an avid dog lover. I have two beutiful desexed male dogs myself, Charlie the Pug and Hugo the Frug and am extremely experienced with brachy breeds. My boys are used to having other dogs around as I have previously fostered rescue dogs.

Fostering has led me to have extensive experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. I currently work part time as a Registered Nurse and am lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time at home so you can be rest assured that your dog will be well looked after.

I live with my partner in a large house in Smithfield with two backyards. My partner is in the defence force and is often away for extended periods of time but when he is home he is very involved with providing loving care for your dogs.

My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm home but due to their breed and the Cairns climate they are indoor dogs when I am at work and relax in the aircon. If your dog prefers to be outside or needs access to the doggy door I can arrange for that. I am super active and love morning and evening walks or runs and live very close to the best dog parks and beaches in Cairns.

I have a car so are able to pick up or drop off if you live close by.

Short notice bookings and extended stays are completely fine.
