About Laura

Hi my name is Laura and I am animal mad! I have owned pets my whole life. I grew up with golden retrievers, a Birman and fish. When I left home I got my first dsh kitty and from then on have owned my own golden retriever, i got myself my first kelpie and became a registered golden retriever breeder. I studied equine science at this time as I owned horses, yep I'm horse mad too! In later years I owned a farm and had 2 kelpies, 2 cats and lots of animals including goats, horses, alpacas, cattle and chooks.

These days we live in a normal sized house with 2 amazing kelpies and 2 cute kitties. I am new to mad paws but not new to pet minding. I have been a pet minder with a local company for the past 2 years. I love my work visiting pets, walking dogs and having dogs stay with me. I am home most of the time.

I am available for dog walks and visits during school hours. Dogs walks last one hour but I can do shorter walks for cheaper. I am able to board 7 days per week. I can offer visits 7 days per week if you are close to me. Daycare is only available weekdays. Dogs that come to my house must be friendly with cats or come and meet my cats to check they are ok. I do not board cats or giant breed dogs unfortunately. Dogs always sleep inside at night. My dogs are used to dogs of all sizes. Please get in touch if you might like to book with me...
