About RUTH
Hi, I'm Ruth, an easy-going Scottish/Australian animal lover that is trustworthy, caring and reliable. I would love to help you by exercising your dog and care for your pet when you are unavailable.
Having recently said goodbye to my 10 years old exuberant, goofy, lovable, strong-willed and sometimes anxious Lab/Staffy cross, I decided I could continue to offer love, company and care to your pet, so decided to create this service.
Workwise, I am mostly at home. Our house in Soldiers Hill has a fully enclosed back garden to keep your dog safe. Your dog would be free to roam in and out or curl up on the sofa if that's what they like. They would also get plenty of exercise, as I enjoy getting outdoors!
Your pet(s) well-being is my priority. I only offer one-on-one day care unless dogs are from the same household.
Dogs I have cared for include the laziest to the most energetic, most timid to most friendly, mixed breeds, lively Jack Russells, ball-fixated Kelpies, velcro Cocker Spaniels, gentle Rottweilers, high-spirited Labradors and playful pups.
In the feline world, I have loved and cared for many moggies – the timid, the sociable, the skittish, and the rescue ones that need coaxing and patience. I’ve even escorted a Burmese cat sitting next to me on a flight from Belgium to Israel, she got the window seat 😊.
Although I'm new to Madpaws happy to provide references. I offer in-home visits (good for cats and/or older pets); dog walking services and provide day-care and overnight stays in my own home.
I encourage a meet and greet as this will give us all a chance to see if we fit.
