Hi!
My name is Laura and I am 24 years old living in Fremantle. I work as a freelance freediving instructor.
I am a passionate animal lover who has grown up with dogs as part of my family. From a young age, I experienced the joy and fulfilment that comes with taking care of dogs. I have always felt a natural bond with them, and the happiness they bring into my life is truly immeasurable.
With one year of previous experience as a dog walker in Copenhagen (Denmark), I have had the opportunity to establish a routine that prioritises safety and enjoyment. I have learned the importance of creating a calm and comfortable environment, establishing trust with the dogs, and maintaining good communication with their owners.
I also have experience working as a volunteer in South Africa with wildlife conversation, where I took care of injured wild animals.
I understand that each dog is unique and has individual needs and preferences. Whether it's a high-energy dog who requires a long, active walk or a senior dog who prefers a leisurely stroll, I take the time to understand and meet each dog's specific requirements. I also ensure that I am well-prepared for any situation, always keeping safety as the top priority.
Moreover, I understand that being a responsible dog walker means going beyond just the physical aspects of walking. I believe in providing enriched experiences to stimulate not only physical but also mental well-being.
Being a dog walker allows me to combine my passion for animals, my enjoyment of the outdoors, and my dedication to providing the best care possible for our furry companions.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet new dogs, build strong bonds, and contribute to their overall happiness and health as their dedicated dog walker....
