About Cassie

We are travelling Australia with a ute and tent. Sometimes we're looking for the comforts of home like a furry friend. I do have health issues. I need somewhere to retreat from the heat of the day. I also cannot sit in homes that have mould. It can send me to hospital. My health means Ill be with your animals most of the time. While Les' fitness allows us to take on the energetic breeds.
I have recently house and pet sitting for my uncle for 12 months while he was overseas.
I have experience with a variety of dogs, along with gaining their trust amd respect. Especially since attending weekly training at a local dog club with my own dog, Chase. Chase is too smart and energetic for his own good. He is constantly testing boundaries, I've learnt to be as attentive as a parent might be with a toddler.
I have experience looking after cats, birds and chooks, fish and a goat.
I grew up around birds and dogs, so im most comfortable with them. We're also keen to take on new types animals especially reptiles. Les would love the opportunity to look after any pet wombats. He has found a new love.
Chase suffered a severe spinal injury in 2023.

I share custody of Chase, he's not travelling with me.
We love spending time outdoors especially when it brings enrichment to the animals.
I have built and owned my own home. I know how precious your own space is and we will treat your home with the same respect. I have a habit of leaving places better than i found them.
Recently we have looked after parrots, timid cats and large dogs. We especially enjoyed teaching the parrots new words. When the timid animals learn we're safe, their love is extra fulfilling.
We recently shared our campsite with wombats. We accepted our temporary landlords with open arms....
