My name is Jo and I recently moved back home to Brisbane from Adelaide with my husband, 3 children, 4 fur babies - our Ridgeback, Pug and 2 cats, and our 4 reptiles - Blue tongue lizard, python and 2 geckos.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up we had Huskies, a Weimaraner, chihuahuas, poodles, cats, mice and fish.

In Adelaide I worked as the Fundraising Officer for the Animal Welfare League (AWL) SA. Over the years, I fostered many TLC cats and mother cats with their kittens. Foster caring often involved giving medication and/or treatments, (e.g. bathing for ringworm), monitoring weight, growth and behaviour and providing daily activities for stimulation.

AWL was my dream job and I was so sad to leave it BUT working there taught me so much and helped my realise what I want to do with my life. I want to stay working in animal welfare but in a more hands on role so I have enrolled at TAFE QLD in a Certificate II in Animal Care.

While studying and getting 3 kiddies settled into new schools I would LOVE to keep caring for animals. I am happiest when I am surrounded with them. I know how incredibly important fur/feather/scaley babies are to their human families so I would be honoured to look after yours. 🥰 And you can rest assured that I will care for them as my own.

I have my license, car and valid Police Check.
