About Elia

Hi, I'm Elia! I'm a Veterinary Nurse, currently completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I am passionate about feline behaviour and welfare and have 5 years of study and professional work experience in animal care. I have completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies & Certificate III in Wildlife & Exhibited Animals. My professional experience prior to being a Veterinary Nurse was as a Senior Animal Attendant at RSPCA NSW Sydney Shelter, with a particular interest in feline behaviour and welfare. I have also completed certifications in Fear Free animal handling and Feline Friendly handling.

I have a dedicated room that is set up as a CAT HEAVEN, which I also use for fostering rescue kitties when not pet sitting. This haven includes a floor-to-ceiling cat tree, comfy beds, fun and enriching toys and a beautiful sunny windowsill. The room can be set up with anything special that your kitty may need. I would love to host your feline family at my cat haven! My focus is to give them the most comfortable stay while you're away, particularly focusing on their physical and psychological well-being, with easy access to medical treatment at my workplace, if ever required.
