About Maya

I work 1-2 days a week as a barista, so I spend a lot of time at home. I am very productive around the house and on my laptop.. (maybe just a bit bored at home) My partner of two years owned a dog, Duke, who recently passed away due to old age. I was used to spending a lot of time with him playing and just talking a lot to him; his absence has become increasingly noticeable. I love any animal that I encounter, they're all unique in their own ways; I love getting to know new animals and making friendships with them. I've been a caretaker to a broad range of pets. I've had plenty experience walking both gentle giants & boisterous breeds such as the American Pitbull, Staffies, Mastiffs and the Ridgeback x Dingo we grew up with alongside a cat. I also helped my sister with her a bearded dragon and the awesome terrarium she had :) I always make sure to put water and seeds out for the laughing doves that visit the backyard, apparently they subconsciously rely on us because they were introduced here as our pets, but with time they were sort of forgotten about by society, and sometimes, there's a whole flock of 20 out there!...
