There are cats in the home, dogs must be cat friendly as well.

Please make sure anything you bring of your dogs is clearly labelled to avoid any mix ups with belongings, some toys will be destroyed if they are brought along. Any beds provided will be cared for and washed if needed.

When your dog comes to stay with me, whether it's for the day or overnight they are treated as if they are my own and will go anywhere I go, we enjoy the sunshine in the backyard, or have a cuddle on the couch or in bed. We keep a toy box in each lounge room so they are never bored and have numerous enrichment toys to keep their minds active. On weekends we will take them for a visit to the local oval, or dog park or a dog beach (when we can travel and if dogs are comfortable).

I make all my own single protein treats and try to source the best possible treats if I can't make them, we have interactive toys in our backyard and a mini pool for the dogs if they are water inclined (considering upgrading to a large pool soon!). I make snuffle mats for the dogs to enjoy as well and keep their little minds active.

I have owned and cared for animals all my life, from hamsters to horses, ferrets, birds and dogs. I’m a zoologist hoping to get into veterinary medicine and I have a keen interest in animal behaviour and nutrition....
