About Lina
I have been an avid animal lover since I was a child. I was actively working for multiple animal welfare organisations as a teenager. I was an honorary Animal Welfare Officer (courtesy the Animal Welfare Board of India) and also worked for the Plant and Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and In Defense of Animals, India
(IDA). I also volunteered my time with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA, Mumbai). I interned with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) at their headquarters in Virginia, USA. My home was always a haven for injured, lost and abandoned animals who we looked after alongside our 9 dogs and one cat.
