About Sarah

Hi! We are a family of five dog lovers on beautiful Tamborine Mountain. Our 2 year old beaglier, Poppy, loves other dogs (she is submissive, but also loves to chase and play), and happily welcomes other dogs into our home and yard.
Our three children are 12, 8 and 4, they are all great with dogs. We are a homeschool and work-from-home family, so someone is at home 95% of the time - for scratches and cuddles and liver treats.
We have a lovely fully fenced yard, and we are walking distance to our local, enormous, dog park. We walk or visit the park daily, so active and social dogs have lots of oportunity to burn energy and make friends! Quieter friends can snooze on our sunny back deck or in front of the cosy fireplace. Poppy is an indoor and outdoor dog, and sleeps inside at night.
Our previous dog (Abby the bulldog!) lived to a ripe old age, and was our constant companion throughout her life. We both grew up with dogs of all kinds and love a house full of doggy energy. We have experience dogsitting friend's small and medium dogs.
We are open to small-to-mid-sized dogs coming to stay, and would welcome a pre-visit to ensure you feel happy and comfortable having our family care for your doggo.
