About Rachel
Hello and thank you for visiting our profile!
We are an animal-loving couple with years of experience owning and looking after a variety of pets including dogs, horses, goats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, cats, and chickens.
We are happy to host our lovely apartment to animals that are comfortable living in smaller spaces. We have a second story apartment with a large deck and tiled floors inside. Dave is working from home while he finishes his PhD, providing the perfect company for an animal during the day time. We are quite active people, and your animal can enjoy being taken out on walks with plenty of interaction and playtime at home. Our home in Taringa has an abundance of greenspace and walking trails, with Mt Coottha and dog parks close by for outdoor fun.
We hope to build a friendship with your animals so that they come back to you feeling happy and content.
Please send us a message if it sounds like we are the right fit for you and your animal. For now, we are only accepting animals that have basic training and are not aggressive (unless communicated with owner prior to meet and greet).

Rachel took great care of our 1 year old border collie. For 5 days. She was very responsive and included our puppy in her life taking her on outings and walks. She made a special effort for her first birthday. The daily updates and photos were much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Rachel and plan to rebook.

Rachel was an awesome pet sitter. Our beloved bouncy 10 month old labradoodle puppy spent the weekend at Rachel’s home. Low with great access to a fully fenced yard. Rachel was friendly and kind and super easy going. She replies to messages quickly and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. Rachel sent updates and photos which was really lovely.
