Since I was a small child, my mum would rescue dumped kittens and rabbits from our local water canals in the Five Dock/Haberfield area.
From a young age I was taught to handle and look after new born animals, raise them back to health and helped re-home them with friends and family.
Growing up we had 9 resident cats, 4 rabbits, budgies, hermit crabs, fish, tadpoles/frogs, mice and a dog.
Since then I've pet sit for many family and friends for animals all shapes and sizes and in various age and health conditions. I'm no stranger to administering medication as needed. I've also volunteered to foster kittens through the Cat Protection Society and Maggies Rescue in the past aswell.
I now have 1 cat of my own aged 10 and a 7month puppy. I have experience with menacing/dangerous dogs through a rescue American Staffie i had in the past. Along with holding a current reptile license after owning snakes in the past.
We have a large secure backyard and my pets are no strangers to other furry visitors, your pets would be treated as my own and showered with love. Even have dog grooming experience under my sleeve.
I can happily do house sitting visits, if your fur baby prefers to be in a familiar environment without other pets hanging around pestering them to be friends....
