About Emma
Hi 👋 I'm Emma. A local pet lover (but without any pets).
Originally from the UK, I grew up with pet dogs. Finn, a Yorkshire-cross Tibetan Terrier, and Lizzie, a West-highland cross Jack Russell Terrier, were both rescue dogs - one very well trained when adopted and one that had been previously rehomed a number of times and required a lot of training. Since moving to Melbourne, I have not committed to having my own dog, however I have fostered a number of dogs - ranging from Jack Russells to Border Collie cross Kelpie, age 18-months to 14 years, from well-trained to untrained and deaf.
I have also fostered one kitten at 12 weeks who had never lived in a home previously and stayed with us for a few months. I have also cat sat for friends cats, both at my home and at theirs (staying over or day visits).
I am currently a registered foster career with RSPCA Victoria and Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR), and I am a registered temporary puppy raiser with Guide Dogs Victoria.
I am currently taking a break from full-time work and therefore looking for some furry friends to care for while I take some time out! I enjoy walking, providing pats and cuddles, playing games (fetch, chase), and providing treats / training as requested.
I live near Pender Park and also have a car if needed for walks further afield. I live in a townhouse with a secure (high-fenced) garden.
