About Danika & Doug
A friend suggested we offer our services to MadPaws as we not only love animals in all shapes and sizes but my husband and I both work from home and have a huge, secure backyard.
We have two kids plus two dogs who are a huge part of our family. Our kids are 10 and 7 and have grown up around animals - we've had chickens and ducks in the past and have always looked after friends and family’s dogs when they go away. We've even looked after a baby goat for a few weeks!
Huxley is our 11 year old cocker spaniel who is a beautiful soul, he does a lot of sleeping but still loves to chase a ball. Millie is our 2.5 year old miniature dachshund who loves nothing more than to steal balls off Huxley or cuddle up on top of him or one of us on the couch.
Doug has been a volunteer for WIRES and has instilled his love of birds in the family. We treat any animal with the love and respect they deserve and any animal in our care is treated like it’s part of our family.
If an animal is in our care we will make sure we communicate with you to understand what they need to feel at home with us and will be in touch with updates so you know how they’re going!
