Hi there

I have over 25 years pet sitting experience globally. I am currently taking sits on central coast or if within 200ks (for at least 2 weeks). I will be looking to do long term international pet/house sits in US, Europe, UK from May 2024 - October 2024. I am happy to do one or more sits.

I love doing sits, I love to learn local places and dogs and cats are just such a joy to have. I currently live with 3 cats (not mine) but I love them dearly.

I am a mature, professional lady, who owns property and I am very respectful of people's property and I take good care of it, as if it's my own! I love animals and these combined make having a digital nomad lifestyle incredible.

I am a business owner and doing a PHF so I am so lucky that it enables me to work anywhere in the world with fast internet and airconditioning.

As a sitter, I love to be at home with the pets and spend most of my time there. I have had my own pets most of my life, however, in the last few years I have been in rented apartments and travelling a lot that has prevented me from having my own fur babies. I have lots of love for them and will treat yours like my own.

I have done hundreds of sits on other websites. I am always asked back for repeat sits. A couple of the written references are below.

I have a clear police check.

I am COVID safe and would expect sits to oblige.

TO SIT *** I need air conditoining and a decent medium or plush bed to sleep on, with decent wifi and phone coverage.

Vanessa undertook to care for our much loved, elderly cat while we were overseas for three weeks. Regrettably our cat became very unwell and Vanessa contacted us then took the cat to our vet. The illness was terminal and the cat was euthanised. Vanessa was thoughtful enough to offer to remove the cat’s possessions to save us distress on our return and to offer to vacate as there was no cat to care for.

We asked her to continue caring for the house and garden and we returned to a tidy home, all linen washed and dried and a treat of cheese and biscuits.

We appreciated her handling of an unexpected and sad situation and her care of the house and cat.

Vanessa minded our house and pets while we were away for a week over the Mid year school holidays 2018. Our initial contact with her was via the this website. We had initial phone contact, Skype/zoom and then face-to-face prior to her minding our home, dog and pussy cat.

Vanessa is friendly, thoughtful and conscientious. I could tell Vanessa was going to take good care of our home and pets because she asked the right questions.

She left the house in good condition and the animals were very happy when we returned. We had great peace of mind while we were away.

I would recommend Vanessa and I'd be confident that she would take good care of your pets & home.

Vanessa minded our house and 2 dogs for 9 weeks while we were away in early 2019. We spoke several times on the phone and I was immediately impresssed with her and her experience. She asked all the right questions. Vanessa came to meet us face-to-face prior to her minding our home and she was just as expected and we felt great peace of mind and had no qualms.

Vanessa is professional, friendly, conscientious, thoughtful, honest and responsible.

Vanessa left the house in great, clean condition. Vanessa left us a lovely basket of food as we were getting in very late at night. It was lovely to come back to a clean house and happy dogs!

I would highly recommend Vanessa and I'd be confident that she would take good care of your pets & home beautifully.

Vanessa is an amazing soul. This is her second sit. She's friendly, helpful and happy person. My 2 older dogs always happy to see her and get great care from Vanessa. Both of mine need medications and she was spot on with administering the meds (giving asthma puffer to dog take some patience!!). She kept me updated each day with photos and videos. The place is kept cleaned and she left me yummy soup too. She is a gem of a person! She has sat for my babies several times. She is organised, reliable, self-sufficient, clean! 5 star review!...
