About Aimie

Hello!

My name is Aimie and I'm an 18 year old fresh out of highschool pet carer!

Ever since I was young I have simply adored all animals from all walks of life and have spent countless hours researching and learning about the responsibilities of owning animals. I grew up watching Bindi Irwin, and while my parents may have found my renditions of her songs annoying, they can absolutely vouch for my love for all critters!

In the past I have owned and looked after cats and dogs of all ages, tropical fish, hermit crabs, and even turtles!
I currently have two whippets who I love to pieces, and often look after my friends elderly jack russel when she's out of town.

I have volunteered at Gold Coast Pet Center and have basic knowledge in looking after and feeding reptiles, birds, and fish, as well as mild dog grooming experience.
Additionally, I have attended holiday courses at the AWLQ and received skills in:
- Dog Hydro-bathing
- Cat Behaviour and Handling
- Small Animal Care
- Basic Dog Obedience Training

With my skills and love for animals, I am confident in safely taking care of pets for extended periods of time, checking in and providing the the upmost care when you are unable to, walking and exercising pets, and even bathing and grooming your animals!

Due to my recent departure from school, I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around your needs!
