About Heather & Neil
Choosing the right dog carer is important so relax knowing we offer 5 * personal attention, in a relaxed family home environment. I am home all day and usually care for one dog (or bonded family) at a time. Your dog is our priority, so they can expect lots of attention; cuddles, play, walks with free reign of house and large secure garden. Please contact us to tell me about your dog, likes/dislikes and what you need. We have a small friendly Cavalier so please make a preliminary visit to ensure compatibility. We host small or medium dogs only that are house trained, desexed, and vaccinated/ worm/flea/tick treated.
Hubby (Engineer) and I (retired RN) are in our 50's active and semi-retired, home-based and experienced dog carers. We are available to walk your dog with plenty of dog friendly beaches and parks, hosting overnight, provide day-care for just a few hours or the whole day. Ideal for those wanting a trusted sitter for dogs that need caring companionship and lots of personal attention. Perfect for visitors exploring our National Parks and waterways. Pick up /drop off service available. Discounts for locals /regular bookings, or 7 nights + just contact me on 0405 821 880 to discuss your needs.
WALK: 30 minutes - 1 hour individually designed for your dog. On leash walks that suit your pup, unless we know your dog well and they are well trained in recall. Ideal for when you're needing support or for us to get to know each other prior to a stay.
DAYCARE: up to 8 hours approx between 8am to 6pm (extension and other times by negotiation) offered for personal attention and company, cuddles and feed or extra care as needed.
DOG HOSTING: longer days 8 hrs + or overnight stays (max 24 hrs) at our house includes plenty of attention, play and cuddles. Your dog is part of our family for the stay and has the run of the house and garden. 1 or 2 walks suited to your dog, feeding and extra care /medication as needed. Pets will stay at home with us and sleep inside. Discount for locals/5+ consecutive nights or contact me for weekly rates
BOOKING PROCESS:
1.Please make a request for a walk, daycare or hosting. Contact me via Mad Paws to let me know about your dog and what you want.
2. FIRST TIME MEET & GREET: We meet and asses if your dog is compatible with our Cavalier puppy. Your dog gets to have a sniff around and get comfortable with us and the house. If I haven't met your dog before I recommend booking a walk first as it's a good way to us to get to know each other prior to daycare or hosting.
3. Once confirmed you will be asked for payment by MadPaws which is held. Please complete the booking at the end of the service so payment is released and write a review.

Griff had the best stay over with Heather. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She really went out of her way to ensure Griff was looked after while we went to a medical appointment in Sydney. As if the trip to Sydney wasn’t daunting enough, to know Griff was safe and well looked after made the ordeal less stressful.

We have rarely left Bailey with anyone but Heather and Neil were the most welcoming, thoughtful, calm and loving sitters I could have hoped for. Heather sent several photos to assure me that even through very bad weather and storms that Bailey was ok despite his fears. They made sure all the dogs were safe and happy. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you both.
