About Amber

I am a friendly and experienced Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Student with 20+ years’ experience in pet sitting. I have additional training and certification in animal health, behaviour and welfare, for exotic and small animals. I am highly experienced in caring for various breeds/types of cats, dogs, birds, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, amphibians, wildlife and many reptiles including venomous snakes.

I am currently available weekends and some weekdays around my study schedule. I will do my best to maintain your current routine, or adjust accordingly with your pets needs to ensure minimal stress and optimal comfort and happiness whilst in my care.

I have exceptional hygiene and infection control standards and understand the importance of biosecurity measures. Happy to assist with licensed exotic pets in conjunction with relevant legislation requirements.

I hold a current:
• Police Check
• Working With Children Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Mental Health First Aid Certificate
• Licence for Wildlife Rehabilitation, Reptile Keeping and Snake Catching

Lastly, I have a 10-month-old Labrador X Groodle named Phoenix who is highly social and friendly with animals of all species, but also respects their individual boundaries.
