About Verity & Elliot

Hello, my name is Verity and I am a Children's Oncology Nurse from the UK, with an avid love for all animals. I live with my partner Elliot, who is a Senior Sales Consultant, but more importantly, he is as mad about animals as I am! We live a very active and healthy lifestyle - our favourite weekend activity is to explore new walking routes with my furry friends; ending the day with lots of cuddles! We have looked after plenty of dogs & cats in London and Australia, but even flown out to New York and Switzerland to look after animals! I love running with dogs, completing lots of park runs around Sydney… but equally if your doggie likes the more chilled way of life , we also love shorter strolls holding paws watching the sun set 🌅

I have lived with dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. Neighbours, friends and family have trusted me to walk, bath and train their dogs and we still regularly look after dogs of all sizes and ages. Elliot also grew up with 3 cats and his family are all farmers so we love looking after them.

We moved to Australia in January 2024 from UK, where we both have been sponsored, so very excited to meet some new fury friends in different locations 🥰

Whilst being in Australia we have stayed in 5 peoples houses while they are away on a different platform and looked after their pets, all brilliant experiences! Me and my partner Elliot also love to see new areas, so we see this as a great opportunity to explore new places and spend time with our beloved furry friends! ❤️

My partner WFH for 4/5 days a week and I work casual pool nursing so can very much pick my hours around your pet 🐶😻 We both have had our Police checks, I am AHPRA qualified and Certified Working with Children Check for both in Victoria and New South Wales.

Verity and Elliot took wonderful care of our two dogs while we were away on our Honeymoon in New Zealand. They spent a lot of time walking, cuddling, and genuinely caring for our dogs. Verity (and her partner, Elliot) have looked after my dog more times than I can count! They have literally moved their plans and work schedules around at short notice when I have had to travel to accommodate him. They are always excited to see him and he is always excited to stay with them. He comes back exhausted from all the long walks Verity and Elliot take him on and I can enjoy my holiday or focus fully on work knowing that they are taking excellent care of him. Verity always went above and beyond to look after our two cats when we were away. One of them needs regular medication, and I was worried about leaving him initially, but Verity was extremely knowledgable about the medicine, and kept me updated regularly with pics and texts letting me know all was well. She was reliable, thoughtful and listened carefully to what we needed from her! Highly recommended. …

Elliot and Verity looked after our two labradoodles for two weeks when me and my wife were in Europe. They constantly sent cute photos , took them of long walks and we returned to a spotless house. They even changed their plans around last minute to suit us and extend their stay. But most importantly our girls loved them- we would have them to looking after our doggies again in a heartbeat…
