My name is Maddi 👋🏼
I am accepting bookings for pet/house sitting predominantly but also excited to take bookings where I can host your pets in my home when I am able to, however availability is often limited availability for this due to being a popular choice for house & pet sitting around the Illawarra/Sydney region.
For many years I have been a house/pet sitter for friends, family and colleagues and have grown to love it & how it works for my lifestyle so I am looking to take this on in a more professional manner in 2023 and fill my calendar with opportunities.
I am a young professional working in the Australian Public Service, and the nature of my work means I have undergone extensive security checks and clearances. I have my Masters degree in Global Health and my work focuses on delivering national cancer programs and policies. I work from home approx. 3-4 days per week, and go into my office in Surry Hills 1-2 days per week. For pet sitting, this means depending on how far you are from there, your pets would need to be ok by themselves while I am at work.
For short stay pet hosting I would make sure those are my WFH days.
I love pets, being active and exploring new neighbourhoods. I am a very caring, friendly, trustworthy, and clean person, and you can rest assured your home / pets will be safe with me and I can update you via message as often as you’d like while I am caring for your pets.
Although I love all pets, I am dog obsessed, and love nothing more then spending time with all kinds of dogs and taking them on walks or just cuddling on the couch depending on what makes them happy! Having my own dog, I will treat them as if they were my own and understand the needs of dogs and how to monitor their wellbeing. I have particular experience tending to spoilt pups with all kinds of cute and funny instructions to ensure I care for them just as you do. This includes tailoring my care to support all kinds of behaviour quirks and medical needs so nothing is too much for me. I also am comfortable to have dogs sleep in the bed at night if that is what your dog usually does.
I have a small dog, Mason, a 7 year old King Charles Cavalier who is well-trained, relaxed and friendly, loves making new friends and is the center of my world! For pet hosting I would need to ensure Mason will be safe while hosting your pets so I may have a few queries before accepting the booking. For pet/house sitting I would love to be able to bring Mason to be a little friend for your pets, I take most bookings with Mason and have never had any issues, however I also do bookings without him (he would stay at home with my sister) so just let me know your preference.
