I am a mature 59 yrs young, of honest and reliable character.
Sound in body and mind.
Dogs bring out the best in me.
I understand the mental anguish that some dogs can suffer while being separated from family for any amount of time.
So I take pride in supporting them with attention and care to ease any discomfort, as they settle into my home away from home.
I understand most dogs needs and know that it is a constant learning curve.
Each dog is an individual and I do not use physical violence to correct unacceptable behavior.
I also understand how precious, as your own baby, dogs can be for their family.
Since my teenage years, I have often pet sit my family and friends dogs, often for weeks at a time.
Always an uplifting, rewarding responsibility.
I have previously worked 7 months at a Doggy Daycare.
I currently volunteer at the RSPCA dog shelter. As a dog attendant.
I have honourably completed studying Cert 4 in "dog psychology, behavior and training".
If you need your dog loved and deeply cared for while you are away from home, then look no further.
I would love to look after your dog for a night or two or any longer periods.
We can arrange pick up and drop off, if you need, for a fee.
I will exercise your dog daily.
I love to give baths. I am particularly good at helping dogs terrified of water to re-learn that water/baths can be enjoyable and soothing.
Your dog NEEDS to be other dog social, friendly.
I CAN NOT ACCEPT entire dogs of either sex. The exception being puppies under 1 yr old. The behavior unpredictability and risk of discord or injury is too high, I am so sorry if this disappoints you.
I also CAN NOT ACCEPT pets that I have NOT had a Meet and Greet with PRIOR to your requested booking date. Without a meet and greet prior to your pets stay is too risky for everyone in my opinion.
I require proof of vaccination before your pet can stay in my home.
