Hello! I am an experieced, caring and reliable sitter looking to assist where I can with your beloved hound(s). I have grown up with dogs and treat them as if they are my family!
Most recently, my flat featured as the welcoming home two rescue greyhounds (separately) for a few months. These beautiful greys have since found their forever families, however it was such a pleasure having these gentle giants as part of my life and sharing my space with them! I would jump at the opportunity to foster again, however, I have since moved and am currently living in a beautiful sharehouse in Prahran/Windsor and not able to bombard my flatmates with too many furry friends.
I am open to dog-sitting from my sharehouse, however I will need to run it by my flatmates on a case-by-case approach. I live in a large sharehouse with a fully fenced back yard. Alternatively, I would be open to do some dog-sitting from your place.
I have a few years exerience dog-sitting casually for friends and family. I have always been happy to travel and accomodate my time to suit the needs of each owner and dog. I have experience with a range of breeds and sizes, including reactive larger dogs, anxious greyhounds, very active border collies and pugs that are living life in the slow lane. But I adore them all the same.
A bit about me: I absolutely love to get out and about, so if your dog is keen for exercise and adventures...we have a match! I enjoy exploring new neighbourhoods, walking to the best coffee spots and reading a book in the sun on a weekend. I also have a car which means exploring and walks on the beach or bush walks could be on cards. In saying all this, I am also incredibly flexible and will tailor my time with your dog to suit their needs. If they just want to lounge around all day, fine by me.
I currently have the flexibility of working from home and enjoy a long lunchtime walk to make the most of the sunshine (if/when Melbourne turns it on). During our time together, I will send lots of updates of our adventures to give you peace of mind and reassure you that your pooch is in good hands and I am treating them as if they are my own (absolutely spoiling them)....
