Hello! I am an animal lover to my core - whether that's wildlife, small animals or farm animals, my love for animals is a fundamental part of my way of life.
I am a registered Veterinary Nurse working at a small clinic in the Blue Mountains, where I grew up and live currently. I also volunteer for WIRES - a wildlife rescue group where I have had the opportunity to care for orphaned wildlife.
I've been working with animals since 2016, from Vet Nursing to Zookeeping and some pet sitting in the mix. Throughout my career I have developed a special interest in wildlife and behaviour, recently completing my fear free certification.
I live with a cat named Neytiri (also goes by Tiri or Tdawg) who is a curious domestic medium haired kitty. I'm also very lucky to have a shared family dog, a miniature schnauzer named Baxter (or B-man) who comes on my camping or bushwalking experiences.
In my spare time I love to be outdoors, whether that's hiking, camping or exploring the next nature spot. I also love to read, cook and paint. You can always count on me to spot the nearest dog, bird or cool looking insect....
