About Briony

Hi there!
My name is Briony, and my partner's name is Brad and we live in an apartment in Sydney's lower north shore. We've both grown up in homes with dogs and love dogs so much but we don't have any of our own right now so we've been looking after friends and families dogs when they go away or have events on and this is how we heard about Mad Paws!

We'd love to help look after your beloved pets, our days typically always start with a morning walk and coffee and we know your furry friend would enjoy accompanying us. Having both owned dogs previously we've been through puppy school, know how to walk and care for a dogs, wash, feed, toilet breaks etc. We also know what dogs can and can't eat and really respect that dogs can have very specific diets and we aren't people to feed them under the table!

We both work in flexible/hybrid (work from home/office) working environments and can organise our schedule to ensure your dog is not left alone at home while we're at work if you choose a longer stay with us. As I mentioned we live in an apartment, but please don’t be concerned we will walk your dog as much as required to keep them comfortable and entertained. We live next door to a gorgeous park so even after a day of work we can stroll down to that park for some fun and safe outdoor time.

Unfortunately Brad is allergic to dogs that shed a lot of fur, so we may have to decline if your fur-baby malts like crazy! Addiotnally, if your dog is going to be excited/scared by noises of apartment living we may have to turn you down as we don't want to annoy our neighbours with a barking dog....
