I'm a hobbyist sitter in my forties who often works from home. I grew up on a farm and am used to all sorts of animals around and caring for them. I offer a safe, comfortable and clean apartment which is suitable for cats, and low to medium energy dogs that are compatible with apartment living - i.e. I can't take dogs that bark a lot or are prone to accidents or not toilet trained (puppies midweek only with prior agreement). I don't host pets from more than two families at a time like you might find with other sitters, and I'm quite comfortable if you prefer that your pet is my only guest for the duration of their stay. I have a balcony that is suitable for most dogs to wander out onto, but it should go without saying that I do restrict cats to inside, safe and sound. All animals sleep inside in a comfortable environment, and they are cared for as if they are my own with plenty of cuddles and attention. I walk all dogs a minimum of three times a day - morning, afternoon and night. I can also pet sit at your place on the Northern Beaches or Lower North Shore and do home drop-ins for feeding, litter maintenance and a bit of love. I'm also experienced in administering medicine and managing diabetes in pets (insulin injections).

My rates do not include food or kitty litter, but I am happy to include these in my shopping for longer stays for your reimbursement.

I have doggy day care open as an option for those who might need to book for more than 24 hours per one night's sit (for example if dropping off at 8am then picking up at 6pm the next day).

If you would like your dog washed, brushed and dried during his/her stay please add on Grooming (I'll leave any trimming to the professionals!). I will trim guest cats' claws if they are too long as a matter of course, for the safety of others in my household and my belongings.

My little cat Henry is a wonderful host too; he is playful, gentle and inquisitive and he gets along with both dogs and cats. I am also easily able to keep him separated from guest pets if and when required, and any introductions will be cautious and slow. Please send me a picture of your cat's current vaccination certificate before a stay....
