About me/my experience:
I live in Woodvale and have a serious passion for all pets! I have grown up with pets my whole life and have volunteered for the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm in the past as well as caring for the pets of family and friends over the years. I had my first booking through MadPaws in April 2018 and have since completed over 100 bookings with over 60 different households and have been given the opportunity to care for over 100 pets with different personalities and needs. I have a current Police Check (MadPaws badge pending) as well as a driving license and will always have access to a car in the event of an emergency.

Why I Love Being a Petsitter:
I simply love animals so there's never a dull moment when I'm petsitting! I have a beautiful Cocker Spaniel named Tyler and understand how stressful it can be to find the best care for your pet that doesn't cost the earth. I wanted to provide a service that does just that. All pets need attention and love to help avoid the anxiety that comes when their owners leave and I understand that caring for a pet is not just about feeding, cleaning and walking away.

Rates:

House Visiting ($25 per visit);
-includes feeding and refilling water bowls, small household chores (e.g. taking out the bins, watering pot plants) and plenty of love and attention
-This is charged per visit, not charged per pet and per visit.

Dog Walking paired with House Visiting:
-Dog walks are $10 per walk, per dog if paired with a house visit
-Elderly dogs who require no more than 10 mins walk per day won't be charged

Dog walking ($25 per walk):
-This rate covers one dog, for 2 dogs who can be walked together easily, the rate is $30/walk
-Any additional dogs after that are $25 each

Hourly-Rate Pet sitting ($35/hr)
-For pets that need a full hour of attention while you're away
-I am able to negotiate price for bookings with consecutive hours

Some things to note:
-There is no additional price on puppies
-There is no charge for administering medication
-Due to the fact that I am not very strong, I can only accept large/strong dogs for dog walking if they do not pull on the lead and are well trained
-Unfortunately, I am unavailable for repeat weekly bookings
-Due to our own fur baby having anxiety with other pets, I cannot provide any services where your pets stay with us

Every pet and household is different. Listening to the owners to ensure that your pet's daily routine isn't interrupted and they stay happy and healthy throughout their time is important to me. I'm happy to keep you updated while you're away if you'd like to know how your pet/s are doing. I can also cater for animals with special needs.
