About Fiona

I grew up around all types of animals. As a kid we had mice, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, turtles, Persian cats (my parents were breeders), sheep, cows, pigs and of course dogs. As an adult I had 3 horses, 2 Arab cross, Misty and Leo and a very large quarter horse called Sultan.

I started breeding (registered with Dogs QLD) Belgian Shepherds and Collie Roughs (Lassie dogs) in 1987 and still have them now. I have dogs I've breed all over Australia, New Zealand and even in Hawaii. I have also had cattle dogs, German shepherds, goats and cats. My 4 kids had rabbits and guinea pigs and my son currently has turtles. My daughter has bull mastiff x and bull Arab x dogs that currently live at my house.

So as you can see I have been around my fair share of animals. Hubby is in love with ferrets and snakes. Between us we have loved and cared for most of the everyday beloved pet babies people own.

I owned boarding kennels in Brisbane for 4 years and we were always full, I also did pet sitting. I am ex Army having served for 15 years, I currently work in the pet industry. I was involved for years in dogs shows, agility, obedience and even did some herding training with my dogs. I currently train a few dogs for my customers and we are having great success. I have administered all types of medication (as required) to my dogs and those of my clients.

My life goals now are to re-start a business I loved and spend more time doing what I enjoy, rather than more time working for the man. :)...
