ABOUT ME AND MY CREW:
Hi all, my name is Matt, an animal lover with 3 furboys of my own. Living with 2 border collies I know how to keep them enriched with games and exercise.

As well as my permanent dogs I have had the pleasure of fostering a number of rescue dogs with Precious Paws over the last few years, so my boys and I have all had a range of experience with different guests of differing sizes, breeds and temperaments. I do plan to take on fosters again in the future but until then I will be offering my services as a dog sitter here on Madpaws.

Apart from dogsitting, I am a budding dog trainer in training! I attend the sunshine coast dog obedience club once a week with my Border collie Bear who I plan to get up to the level we can start do agility and trials. At this stage I am still a learner but an added bonus if you book me is that I will be happy to give your pets a little on the side positive training while they are on their stay! I have had great success training various behavioual issues out of my foster dogs so I think your furry friend will come home at least as well behaved if not better after their stay.

MY HOUSE:

I have a fully fenced and quite secure yard with enough space to entertain 2 border collies, not huge but not tiny.

I have also constructed an extra secure gated area up one side of my house that I needed for one of my more challenging foster boys. I leave it open but it can be used if needed if you have an escape artist!

My house is tiled in the main areas and all my pets have free range of the house and yard during the day and when I am home. At night I usually keep everyone inside as I don't let my cat out of a night time. I can have my cat in a seperate area if your pooch needs 24/7 access to the outside for more frequent toileting.

My neighbours are all dog friendly and/or have dogs themselves, but if you have a problem barker we will need to talk before I take them on as it is a very quiet neighbourhood. Some woofing is allowed of course!...
