Dog trainer in training! Currently enrolled in NTDF, (National Dog Trainers Federation) the only nationally accredited dog training course in the country.
Walk and train and Play and train programs teach your dog to walk nicely on the leash and obedience, through going for structured walks (walk and train) or playing in your own backyard (play and train). Sessions will vary from 20-40 minutes depending on your dogs age and their enthusiasm in the session.

I have been working consistently with professional dog trainers for my own reactive dog Gus for the last year and a half. My experience working with professional trainers has inspired me to pursue a career in dog training. Starting with online courses with Leerberg, Fenzi Dog Academy, Prime Canine, Operant Canine, and then the NDTF.

We are continuing our training journey, seeing our professional trainer once a month. Gus and I have also started training for GRC, (gameness, relationship, control), and joining a club when they reopen after a COVID break. GRC is a dog sport that uses play and games to build your relationship with your dog as well as, teach them life skills with the goal of completing the SR (Social Responsibility) test.
