In my previous experience, I have always enjoyed the accompany of puppies. Starting with raising a golden retriever 5 years ago, when my little golden puppy “Han” came to me only 1 and half month old, he was a really loud and naughty boy, barking all night, pissing around, biting and eating everything he saw......However that were all in my expectation as I did a lot of research on parenting puppies. It’s essential to form good habits and compliance for large dogs when they are still puppies, otherwise they can be hard to control, and even dangerous when they are strong enough. Unfortunately, there wasn’t many puppy school in the city we lived so I had to train Han myself. Starting with food resistance training, then heel position, as these relate to his health and safety. Then we learned sit, shake hands, stand up, lay down, close doors, back up…… During the process, we’ve bonded closer connecting, he became a little angle to me and to my family. We also enjoyed a lot of outdoor times, and Han have made many “big” friends like his size, including Labrador, husky, border collie, old English sheepdog. Me and their owners became friends as well and we arranged to walk the boys together. I also looked after Han’s friends when their owner went out of town. Through I’ve gained more experience getting along with dogs in different breeds.
Due to the strict restrictions of animals inbound Australia, I can’t take Han with me here, He’s now staying with his grandma, my mom back in China. He loves staying with my mom because she spoils him all the time. But I still miss him so much every day, that’s also the reason why I’m applying for pet sitter here in Sydney, to share my love and passion to those lovely puppies who needs to be taking care of.
I’m currently living in Zetland, the suburb famous for dog friendly. I have a mini cooper and I can pick up or drop off your dogs as long as they do not have carsick....
