But remember to creep it real. Be aware of their comfort.
While Halloween costumes can be adorable, it’s really important to remember that not every pet loves dressing up. Keep an eye out for signs that your furry friend is feeling uncomfortable or stressed, such as:
Pawing or scratching at the costume
Hunched posture or trying to escape
Whining, growling, or hissing
Rapid breathing or excessive panting
Frozen or stiff movements
If you notice any of these signs, it’s best to remove the costume and let your pet enjoy the festivities in their natural state.
Remember though, their wellbeing during spooky season goes beyond costumes. Before October 31st, make sure you know how to keep your pet safe this Halloween.
