What were you doing before Mad Paws?
I’ve worked for an array of weird and wonderful companies, generally in roles which required tact in difficult situations. These roles have spanned across a range of industries, from solar to travel.
What do you love most about working at Mad Paws?
I love having dogs and friendly people in the office! It’s also a great environment in which to learn; everyone has a different way of doing things, and they’re all equally impressive.
Tell me about something special you have on your desk
I have my favourite cactus, which I smuggled back to Sydney from the night markets in Melbourne. I really wanted a big terrarium, but I couldn’t fit it in my pocket on the plane.
What do you spend your weekends doing?
I LOVE going to the movies. Whether it’s arthouse, a romcom, or an action blockbuster, I love seeing it on the big screen. I know it’s cliched, but I also love to travel. My favourite destination so far has been France, but I’d love to spend more time exploring Italy. I only travelled there for the first time a couple of years ago, and I can’t wait to return.
What do you have as the background image on your phone?
It’s a photo I took at the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. I’ve been going to Singapore for years, and the Gardens are one of my favourite places to visit. As busy as the city can be, the entire world seems to slow down by the bay.
If you could Pet Sit any animal, what would it be?
Either a panda or a sloth. I say sloth because they’d be easy to monitor, and therefore spoil. While I’m sure pandas aren’t as huggable as they appear to be, I’d be eager to find out!
Broadway musicals or cabaret?
Family Guy or The Simpsons?
I love them both, so I’m going to vote for the cross-over episode.
4D cinemas or IMAX cinemas?
Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran?
Classic Disney or Pixar?
Dogs or cats?
Dogs. Don’t get me wrong – I love cats, but I grew up with dogs.
