Let’s face it, our pets run the show.
And we don’t ‘own’ them, but they certainly own us!
They decide when it’s walk time, they demand their meals like clockwork, and somehow they’ve convinced us that the bed (and couch, and every other piece of furniture) is actually theirs.
So, since they’re clearly the ones in charge… what kind of boss is your pet?
Are they a demanding CEO, a hands-on micro-manager, a fun-loving leader, or the ultimate chill manager of vibes?
Take our quick quiz below to find out.

The Top Dog (CEO)
Your pet is the undisputed leader of the household. They make the rules, set the schedule, and expect excellence from their humans. They know what they want, when they want it…and don’t mind reminding you who’s really in charge.
Typical breeds: German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Samoyeds. These breeds often exude confidence, charisma, and a take-charge attitude.
Pet perks: Top-of-the-bed privileges, gourmet meals, and VIP access to every room.
They’re most known to: Greet all guests who arrive at your door, claim the best seat in the house, and demand to be fed the best (whenever they want it).
The Chill Boss (Creative Director)
Your pet brings balance to your home. They’re calm, caring, and masters of relaxation. They remind you to take breaks, slow down, and appreciate a good nap in a sunbeam.
Typical breeds: Bulldogs, Greyhounds, Basset Hounds, Ragdolls. Calm, laid-back breeds are perfect examples of this pet personality type.
Pet perks: Cosy nap spots, soft blankets, flexible schedules.
They’re most known to: Be oblivious to the household’s chaos. You’re rushing around, but they’re unbothered. As part of their creative process, they’re halfway through their fifth nap of the day.
🎉 The Fun Boss (HR Manager)
Your pet is the heart and hype of the home. Always ready for fun, they bring joy to every moment. Full of energy, they love spontaneity, games, and encouraging everyone to enjoy themselves. Who needs structure when you can have chaos?
Typical Breeds: Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Beagles. Social, energetic, and playful breeds make the perfect fit for a role centred around people and culture.
Pet Perks: Extra playtime, endless toys, and plenty of outdoor adventures.
They’re most known to: Interrupt movie night. A quiet time on the couch? Nope. Your furry boss has declared it’s zoomie o’clock. On walks, they greet every dog and occasionally drag you into a mud puddle for fun.
📋 The Micro-Manager (Project Manager)
Your pet has a nose for detail, literally. They track every movement, oversee every meal, and ensure every corner of the home is properly inspected. Every move is monitored, and no treat goes uneaten (or untracked).
Typical breeds: Border Collies, Shetland Sheepdogs, Jack Russell Terriers. Intelligent, alert, and detail-oriented breeds often fit the micro-managing pet personality type perfectly!
Pet perks: Organised toy rotation, scheduled walks, consistent routines.
They’re most known to: Very…veryyyyyy carefully supervise the task of making dinner. This little Micro-Manager is on-duty, ensuring proper food handling (and hoping to ‘help’ by cleaning up any crumbs that may fall).
